When quality of care and financial performance are important to your organization...

...then you need to know about The Spirit of CareGiving®

The Spirit of CareGiving® has been called the best kept secret in healthcare. Why? We’ll let Sherrie Sitarik, President of Orlando Regional Healthcare explain:

“The Spirit of CareGiving® work is the best kept secret for retention and employee value added program in our tool kit. It has transformed Orlando Regional and rapidly changed our culture. It is innovative, life changing and motivational for all of our team members, leadership staff and myself. It is the best thing I have ever done for Orlando Regional.”

Purpose

The Spirit of CareGiving® services are designed to impact organizational effectiveness at every operational level. Our commitment is to support caregivers as they bring caring and compassion into their lives, their organization and the work they love to do.

The purpose of The Spirit of CareGiving® is to create personal and professional transformation in organizations by connecting the passion of who people are with the purpose of what they do. This fosters a culture of presence, care, and compassion.

The Process

The Spirit of CareGiving® begins as a series of two-day learning experiences in which senior, middle and front line managers work together to examine their passion of caring and the common bonds they share as caregivers. The Seven Distinctions of Caring and Leadership create an infrastructure for communication and the work of possibilities between managers and their staff. These distinctions have been proven to create positive changes across all organizational levels.

Each caregiver attending the coordinated learning event creates a possibility and within twenty-four hours creates a result. This gives participants a direct experience in crafting and acting on new possibilities, a skill that is easily transferred into the workplace and their personal life. This fosters a culture in which change is more easily accepted and implemented and the best of each caregiver can be brought forward.

Here is a general overview of the process involved in bringing The Spirit of CareGiving® into your organization:

  • Analyze your current situation using a “Financial Impact Analysis” and in-depth interview with Lant & Associates, Inc. This will reveal the financial savings to your organization for investing in The Spirit of CareGiving® program and help us to design the right approach for your organization.
  • Schedule a time for you and members of your team to attend a session of The Spirit of CareGiving® (optional). This provides you with a first-hand experience of the program and an opportunity to have your specific questions answered by our team. Another option at this point in the process would be to schedule a complete session of the program at your location for a core group of decision makers; we call this a “Decision Program” or “Pilot Program.”
  • You receive a copy of The Spirit of CareGiving® Proposal which provides the detailed outline of how we will roll out the program in your organization. In addition, you can review the statistical data of our results achieved in current and previous clients of the program.
  • Roll out The Spirit of CareGiving® in your organization. The Spirit of CareGiving® begins as a series of two day learning experiences in which senior, middle and front line managers work together to examine their passion of caring and the common bonds they share as caregivers.
  • Provide follow-up support and coaching to those desiring it through our transfer and sustainability strategies and services.
